Arthritis Painkillers

Arthritis pain is a significant problem for many people.  Arthritis does not know age; anyone can get arthritis, and the associated pain (the most common complaint of arthritis).  So you need to get your pain under management.  We will have a variety of tips to help you, including advice pages, our blog, and some drug offerings.  You can often buy pain medicines more inexpensively online than at your local store.  Your best help will come from drugs that are specifically designed to be Arthritis painkillers.  But taking any pain medicine long term has risks, and side effects; so you want to focus on good health as much as possible.

There are over 100 different kinds of Arthritis.  The most common form is Osteoarthritis, caused by trauma, infection, inflammation, or aging of a joint.  Arthritis damage triggers pain in a joint, and can include inflammation around the joint.  We started this site because one of our family members has Ankylosing Spondylitis; but with proper diet and habits, it can be well managed.

Arthritis Pain
A good Arthritis medicine will not only reduce your pain, but will reduce inflammation.  You can even check your bodies overall level of inflammation the next time you have a blood test.  Ask your doctor about a CRP test.  It will also help to lose weight. Some people find a vegetarian or vegan diet can help, both with losing weight and with lowering inflammation.
There is no cure for Arthritis.  But with proper diet, exercise, and medication you can slow the damage and reduce the pain. Some drug companies also have time-released medications, and drugs that will last a full 24 hours.   Do your research, and be sure to advocate for yourself when you see your doctor.  If you are in constant pain, don't accept the situation - keep trying to find a solution that works for you.  Drug companies work very hard to find ways to help with pain - so don't give up!  We like the concept of a "Bridge to a Bridge" which means, hang in there until the next advance.  Because they keep coming!

There are some exciting new developments in Medical 3D printing.  There are new techniques to grow body parts that are working in labs, and in some cases even in people.  Scientists create a 'scaffold' by printing it on a 3D printer, and then use stem cells to grow into and fill the scaffold with living tissue.  Working 3D-printed Esophageal transplants have been done in humans already.   In the lab they are growing teeth, and ligaments.  Someday, they will be able to grow entire joints - using your own stem cells, so there will be no problems with transplant rejection.

You best long term plan is to have a diet and lifestyle to minimize inflammation.  You want to have a low stress life, with good long sleep.  Avoiding meat especially beef can help.  Eating a good diet with emphasis on vegetables and beans is also good. Some people have trouble with wheat or dairy.   Do some research into foods that can lower inflammation.  In moderation, Coffee, Wine, and Chocolate can reduce inflammation in some people.  Avoid all foods with hydrogenated oils and in general packaged foods are not as healthy as fresh.   Foods high in Omega3 can help; certain oils like Flax oil are high in Omega3, and when you buy eggs there are some now that have much higher Omega3.  One of the reasons that grass-fed and free-range beef is better is that the animal has higher Omega3's.   Avoid fast-food at all costs.  There are also supplements that you can take that can lower inflammation, and some tea's.   If a person were to do ALL of these things, it can have a profound effect on your life - and they are not hard to do if you make them part of your lifestyle and if you see how they help improve the quality of your life.
